Notice of an Application for a Planning Permit
We are applying for a planning permit to build a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) within the Glenrowan Solar site. Read about the background work we have done in our news article here.
A Notice of an Application has been mailed to neighbours within a 1km radius of the proposed BESS, as required by the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning. These residents can make comments on the development, within four weeks of the commencement of the notice period from 23 February 2026.

Supporting the renewable energy transition
The Glenrowan Solar Farm is a 130MWdc solar project located 2km south-west of Glenrowan, Victoria.
The solar farm is fully operational and is generating renewable electricity to power the equivalent of 55,000 Australian homes, contributing towards the Victorian Government’s Renewable Energy Target (VRET) and supporting the transition to a carbon-neutral future.
