Pacific Partnerships Energy invites expressions of interest from local and surrounding Glenrowan community members to nominate for a Community Reference Group (CRG) for the Glenrowan Solar Farm.
Expressions of interest are sought from local individuals, residents, business owners and/or members of local interest groups to support the development and operation of the new solar farm.
The CRG will act as a two-way link between Pacific Partnerships Energy and the local community to provide an avenue for community involvement during the development and future operations of the solar farm and support opportunities for communication and engagement between Pacific Partnerships Energy and local communities.
Pacific Partnerships Managing Director Simon Nicholls said the Community Reference Group aims to provide a forum for members of the local community.
“We want to keep the local community informed about development of the Glenrowan Solar Farm and ensure we understand and consider the broader community’s aspirations,” he said.
“The Community Reference Group will be instrumental in developing our community-driven benefit sharing initiatives.
“We are seeking trusted local champions to help us contribute to the success of the region and deliver long term benefits to the community.”
Expressions of interest from community members are invited by Wednesday 26 October 2022. Read about the Community Reference Group here.
